Uganda: Entebbe Airport
Kenya: Cross over from the border, nearest airport is Eldoret. Or plan your road trip from Nairobi!
Lacam Lodge is a 5 hour drive from Kampala (we recommend leaving early to skip traffic getting to Jinja). After Jinja it’s a very smooth and new road with plenty of beautiful scenery.

No, the road to Sipi Falls is new and you won’t need a 4×4 to get to the lodge. Once you reach the lodge everything can be done by foot or bicycle so you also don’t necessarily need a car once there.

We offer a variety of rooms, from beautiful double bed cottages, to family cottages and dorm-style rooms. We also offer shared shower facilities for campers (you can bring your own tent or park a car with a rooftop tent - please still book in advance).

Yes, we have all of those and our restaurant area is managed by a cafe so it’s great cozy working vibes!

It includes vegetarian/vegan and various food options but if you have specific dietary requirements please feel free to let our team know before your stay so we can prepare accordingly.

All year around there are activities that can be done around Sipi Falls. But the drier months are recommended if you’d like to do long hikes.
Yes you can pay for your stay in USD, Euros or Ugandan Shillings. We accept cash, mobile money or card payments. You can also arrange for bank transfers if paying from a Ugandan Bank.
The closest ATMs are in Mbale town (on your way to the lodge) or in Kapchorwa (about 20 minutes drive).
Unfortunately, our lodge has been built on a cliff side which means there are stairs to reach the room. You can request for the closest rooms if needed.
Yes, we host plenty of solo backpackers and families in our lodge and our guides will be happy to adjust the activities to fit your group!

Yes we require a deposit to confirm your booking, unless you are booking within 24 hours of your stay.
We request full payment to confirm your reservation and will refund (minus minimal transaction fees) up to 7 days before your stay.

Accomodation is not guaranteed for drivers, if you are booking the waterfall cottages we have been giving free accomodation in the dorm-style Hippo cottage when those rooms are not booked. There is suitable driver accomodation less than 5 minute drive from our lodge as well.
